The Relationship of Family Functioning to School Achievement

This study examined relationships between school achievement and measures of family functioning of school maladjusted children. It was found that positive relationships exist between these variables, and it is suggested that educators can and should consider total family interaction when engaging in intervention programs with school maladjusted children.
