Greenberger, Ellen; Sorensen, Annemette
Sociology of Education, 44, 2, 198-216, Spr 71
A study of junior high school faculty attributes of sex, age, and organizational status analyzed interpersonal choices concerning association. Men tended to be chosen most often for respect, but one's sex determines who one chooses for social association. Age was most influential in regard to choices for respect and liking. Status most often determined choices for respect. (CWB)
