The Effects of an Interracial Preschool Program upon Racial Preference, Knowledge of Racial Differences, and Racial Identification
Crooks, Roland C.
Journal of Social Issues, 26, 4, 137-144, F '70
Racial preference, knowledge of racial differences, and racial identification of lower class Negro and white urban preschoolers were examined. An attempt was also made to determine the effect of an enriched preschool program on these three response measures. Negro as well as white children rejected brown dolls, possibly a result of parental behavior during early socialization. (DM)
