Psychological Consultation to Teachers of Learning and Behaviorally Handicapped Children Using a Behavioral Model
Stephens, Thomas M.
J Sch Psychol, 8, 1, 13-18, 70 W
A behavioral model relates observations of students' academic and social functioning to teaching strategies. In this system school psychologists acquire specific behavioral information about students' responses, types and schedules of reinforcement and sensory modes so they may select appropriate instructional strategies, including academic and social tasks, schedules of reinforcement, sensory modalites to be emphasized, and instructional materials.
