Preparing students for the Twenty-first Century can be a daunting task. Do educators understand the necessity of transitioning to a digital learning environment? Through a qualitative study, educators immersed in a digital conversion were interviewed to reveal their impressions of effective professional development. Within this study, the teachers revealed that they desire relevant training and want to have a voice in planning that training. They also want to be challenged and learn in a supportive atmosphere that has direct application to their curriculum and classroom.
