The Effectiveness Level of School Administrator's Coaching Characteristic on School's Being Learning Organization

The aim of the study is to determine the effectiveness level of the coaching skills of school administrators on the school becoming a learning organization. The population of the study consists of teachers who are working at public and private secondary schools affiliated to Ministry of National Education, Kutahya Province National Education Directorate in the academic year of 2011-2012. The method of convenience sampling was used in the study. In the research, as a means of data collection, Learning School Perception Scale taken from Subas (2010) and Coaching and Management Skills Scale from Yeltan (2007) were used. As a result of the research, a significant difference was found between the coaching skills of the school administrators and the school's becoming a learning organization. (Contains 9 tables.)
