This study was conducted for the purpose of reporting the possible relationships between induction programs on beginning teachers' feelings of preparedness as well as their plans to remain in teaching. The exploration of the experiences of teachers during their first year of teaching aims to evaluate the support system they are offered during their first year of teaching. Findings from this study suggest a possible relationship between new teachers' experiences with their induction programs and feelings of preparedness. (Contains 1 table.)
