Emerging HRD Issues: A Conceptual Framework for Corporate University in the Context of Chinese Organizations

The authors suggest a conceptual framework for developing CU's in the Chinese organizational context. We reviewed literature on existing conceptual frameworks and chose the CU wheel as proposed by Prince and Stewart. Four core processes identified in the CU wheel were realigned and readjusted in developing our framework of Corporate University in the Chinese organizational context. A discussion emphasizing formal and informal networks and the learning processes in the Chinese organizational context is provided. (Contains 1 table and 1 figure.)
