Bartlett, Kenneth R.; Bartling, Frederick P.
Online Submission, Presented at the Academy of Human Resource Development International Research Conference in The Americas (Indianapolis, IN, Feb 2007)
The purpose of this study was to assess self-perceived leadership styles practiced by adult educators and graduate-level adult education students adopting transformational leadership theory embodied in the Full Range of Leadership Model. Results show significant differences between practitioners and graduate students in mean scores for the transformative and transactional leadership style. The findings are discussed in terms of the implications for career development and leadership training of current and future adult educators. (Contains 1 table.)
