This report summarises the findings of the project, The New Duty to Promote Disability Equality. Section 1 describes the individual aim of each site. Section 2 identifies the main themes arising from the project. Section 3 describes how the project findings have been disseminated. Section 4 highlights key messages for organisations working in and with the learning and skills sector. The overall aim of this project is to support organisations within the post-school sector to respond to the new duty to promote disability equality. The project ran from May 2005 to March 2006 and was managed by the Consortium led by the Learning and Skills Development Agency (LSDA) in partnership with Skill and National Institute of Adult Continuing Education (NIACE) and funded by the LSC.
