State of Hawaii Department of Education
The Superintendent's Annual Report on School Performance and Improvement in Hawaii is one of three reports in the state's system of school accountability. This report contains collective data on Hawaii schools for school year 2002-03, showing trends over time and, where appropriate, comparisons with data from other states. The Superintendent's Report on School Performance and Improvement in Hawaii has two purposes: (1) to report trends, progress, and problems of the state's school system; and (2) to compare the state's public schools with those of the nation and those of states that have important characteristics similar to those of Hawaii.
