Success For Missouri: Success For All Schools In Missouri Gain On MAP-Reading
Success for All Foundation
Success for All is the most extensively researched of all comprehensive reform models for Title I elementary and middle schools. It incorporates scientifically based principles of reading, cooperative learning, professional development, tutoring, and family support. Missouri schools implementing the Success for All reading program once again made significant gains on the Missouri Assessment Program (MAP)-Reading scale. From 2001 to 2004, third graders in Success for All schools gained 14.8 percentage points in students scoring at satisfactory or better on MAP-Reading. Other Missouri schools gained 2.8 percentage points.
