The Role of Religion in America's History and Culture: Twelve Lesson Plans for Middle and Secondary Teachers.

These lesson plans were developed by teachers and designed to be helpful to social studies teachers in grades eight through 12, mostly in United States history or government. The lesson plans are organized in a logical order for a unit on religion. Each lesson contains educational objectives, academic expectations, context, materials needed, and detailed procedures for classroom implementation.
