Chapter 2 introduces teachers to a variety of productivity tools and resources designed to assist them with classroom management and creating instructional activities; it provides links to Internet resources, including lesson plans, online discussion groups, and professional organizations. Chapters 3 addresses how teachers can use technology to meet the needs of all students, including English language learners, gifted learners, students with physical challenges, and students with learning disabilities. Chapter 4 examines technology standards for students, as well as computer policies and issues. Chapter 5 helps teachers categorize the different types of software and make wise instructional choices; recommended software titles are listed.
