A Communication Center or Lab typically provides services or support for oral communication activities in students' course work at a college or university. Many centers also provide services to other clientele such as faculty, staff, and administration, alumni, or even outside groups. Such assistance includes, for example, tutoring for students' preparing oral presentations or for participation in group activities, interviews, discussions, or debates.
