This is the 14th PVCC Management Information handbook. Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC) is a two-year, state-supported college whose region includes Albemarle, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, and Nelson counties, as well as the northern half of Buckingham County and the city of Charlottesville. PVCC's unduplicated annual headcount for 2001-02 was 6,986, and is annual Full-Time Equivalent Student (FTES) enrollment was 2,253. PVCC offers degrees in the following programs: (1) Associate in Arts (liberal arts, and visual and performing arts); (2) Associate in Science (business administration, education, general studies, and physical and natural sciences); and (3) Associate in Applied Science (administrative support technology, biotechnology, business management, information systems technology, electronics and mechanical technology, nursing, protective services, and technical studies). PVCC also offers certificates and career studies certificates. In 2001-02, PVCC employed 51 full-time faculty members, and 212 part-time instructors. The total revenue for the year was $13,574,528. PVCC has a direct economic impact of $15,923,351 on its service region, and an indirect economic impact of $31,146,075 on the region.
