My Teacher Rides a Harley: Enhancing K-5 Literacy through Songwriting.
In this memoir, the author recounts early days as a struggling reader and writer and outlines the songwriting process he uses in student workshops around the country. This book includes: tools and processes to guide teachers to begin writing songs in their classrooms; a compact disk of songs students can sing along with; and classroom activities to enhance the educational value of the songs.
