Following outlines of financial benefits of college, college costs, and space to note costs for the student's area, the guide outlines these steps in the application process: (1) how to apply; (2) complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA); (3) contact other sources; (4) review the Student Aid Report; (5) review award letters; and (6) identify additional sources of funds.
