This CD-ROM was designed to encourage and support an equitable approach to achieving mathematical power and science literacy for all students. Issues addressed include examining beliefs and defining equity, designing equitable curriculum, linking teaching with learning, exploring instructional strategies, building upon successful educational models and initiatives, and partnering with families and the community. This CD-ROM is designed as a series of activities that can be used as stand-alone activities or as the framework around which a particular equity issue can be explored. (KHR)
