This document is a listing of various Pensacola Junior College (PJC) 1997 institutional accountability measures. Highlights include: (1) 33.4% of 1993-95 first-time students were Florida public high-school graduates the previous year; (2) 51% of 1993 Associate in Arts (AA) students had graduated or were still enrolled; (3) 67% of 1993 Associate in Science (AS) students had graduated or were still enrolled; (4) 70.5% of 1994-95 graduates transferred to a four-year state institution; (5) 82% of students enrolled in vocational programs passed professional license exams; (6) 80% of 1994-95 AS/certificate graduates were placed in a program-related career or continuing education; and (7) 47% of 1993 first-time AA students who completed all developmental courses in math, reading, and writing had graduated or were still enrolled. The report also includes the success rate of all 1994 first-time students in developmental math, reading, and writing. The actual accountability measure of each indicator is compared to the PJC previously set and desired goal as well as the overall state community college system average on the indicator. For example, PJC exceeded its own goal and the state community college system average in the enrollment, graduation and retention of AA/AS students. (MKF)
