California Univ., Los Angeles. Center for Mental Health in Schools.
This catalogue has been created as part of the UCLA Center for Mental Health in Schools' effort to compile and disseminate a set of resources useful to addressing barriers to student learning. This resource packet categorizes and provides contact information on organizations focusing on children's mental health, education and schools, school-based and school-linked centers, and general concerns related to youth and other health related matters. Organizations are grouped by the primary type of service provided, and each listing contains the organization's name, address, phone and if available, fax number, email, Web site, and contact person. The packet is divided into five sections: Children's Mental Health; Education and Schools; Resources Specifically for School Based and School Linked Centers; General Concerns Related to Youth; and Other Health Related Concerns. The appendix includes descriptions of Centers (as available). (GCP)
