Although educators are frequently faced with the challenges of politics, hostility, selfishness, and violence, this book demonstrates that these obstacles can be overcome through vision, teamwork, motivation, empowerment, and communication. By using love as a guiding force in the daily interactions with others, the way one conducts business is transformed, and self-respect is gained that might have been lost in the journey to success. Chapter 1 explores liability in love, how to love unlovable people, parental love and teenagers, and how love overwhelms hate in the workplace. Chapter 2 introduces the notion of vision as the first key to motivating with love. Chapter 3 explores ways to communicate with love and move others to high performance, and the keys to becoming a persuasive speaker. Chapter 4, "Teamworking with Love," includes a self-report to check one's teamwork skills and discusses the art of praise over blame. Chapter 5 describes ways to empower others with love and provides examples of how abusive power destroys and how empowerment builds. Chapter 6, "Mentoring with Love," presents steps to mentoring, and research about mentoring men, women, and minorities. Chapter 7 offers advice and steps to evaluate others with love.
