School-to-Work Resources for System Builders.
This technical assistance resource guide is intended to facilitate the inclusion and participation of youth with disabilities in school-to-work systems. The approximately 215 listed items were contributed by state and local organizations nationally. Organizations were asked to select resources that offered "hands on" assistance and were published after 1992. Items were categorized according to five content areas: business and community resources, career pathways and contextual learning, family involvement, structures and policies, and student-focused planning and development. Resources are arranged into the following format categories: articles, audiovisual materials, books, checklists/tools/newsletters, curriculum, reports, resource guides, training materials, and Web sites. Each listing includes a brief description, source, and cost, when available. (DB)
