This digest looks briefly at research and offers strategies for using music in the adult ESL classroom. Specifically highlighted are using songs in instruction and strategies to use with songs, including listening and oral activities, reading and writing activities, vocabulary building activities, and cultural knowledge activities; and selecting music.
