The Dinka of Sudan: Family Traditions in Transition.
Singleton, Kate
This paper examines the core values of the Dinka tribe of Sudan, focusing on the most prominent aspects of their family life. The paper also examines how the Dinka family is changing in the face of Sudan's civil war and modernization. It concludes with suggestions for new directions that social work can take to facilitate the transition of the Dinka refugees into unfamiliar cultures outside of Sudan.
