The Regional Alliance for Mathematics and Science Education Reform at TERC, one of the 10 Eisenhower Regional Mathematics and Science Consortia, served the Northeast and Islands region from October 1995 through September 2000. The Eisenhower Consortia and the Eisenhower National Clearinghouse (ENC) comprise a national network supported by the U.S. Department of Education to disseminate information about high quality mathematics and science materials and provide technical assistance and professional development for teachers, administrators, and state education officials focused on improving mathematics and science teaching and learning. This end-of-grant report summarizes the Consortium's outcomes during the 5-year period from October 1, 1995 to September 30, 2000. It does not attempt to duplicate the information that can be found in the annual performance reports submitted to the Office of Educational Research and Improvement (OERI) on May 13, 1996, April 27, 1997, May 14, 1998, and April 15, 1999, but presents summary analyses of the work along with data collected through the Consortia and Clearinghouse Descriptive Data System (CCDDS), client surveys and in-depth telephone interviews.
