This regional 1998-2000 guide (one of four--Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, and West) lists community colleges and technical, trade, and business schools in the Southeast United States. School listings are arranged alphabetically by state, and within each state, alphabetically by the school's name. At the end of each volume is a regional index arranged in alphabetical order by state, along with a comprehensive index of all institutions listed in all four volumes of the Guide. The description for each school begins with the school's name, address, and other general data, followed by entries under specific headings, such as Web site, type of school, administrators' names, enrollment data, etc. Four detailed sections follow: (1) Admissions--includes requirements for admissions, admissions procedures, and student body statistics; (2) Financial--offers the latest published tuition figures, along with miscellaneous fees, an estimate for books and supplies, and costs for on- and/or off-campus housing; (3) Academic--includes listings of degrees or certificates/diplomas offered, as well as information on specific academic programs, calendar information, special programs, and school graduates' placement rates; and (4) Student Life--includes information on extracurricular activities, school athletics, housing options, student regulations, and environment and transportation.
