This CD-ROM presents various energy and environmental topics. "Great Energy Debate" uses video clips to explore the pros and cons of solar, coal, nuclear, and oil energy sources. "Energy Plant Tour" presents a virtual tour through a plant that converts solid waste into energy. "How Stuff Works" explains energy sources, conversions, and equipment using animation. "Slide Show Maker" allows students to create their own slides on energy and environmental issues with pictures from the database. "Energy Exploratorium" includes two interactive sites entitled "Lectric Lounge" and "Road Trip.""Energy Activities" contains print material for middle school students on energy education. (YDS)
