Issues discussed in the site selection process include the technical requirements when selecting a school site, such as topography and drainage, access and traffic, security and safety, and noise levels. A worksheet is also provided for prioritizing sites. Site planning issues include discussions on the components of a school site such as buildings and landscaping, buses, private and service vehicles, pedestrian traffic, and utilities.
