Skill standards are divided into these areas: word processing; machine transcription; basic office operations; basic data processing; computer file manipulations; office procedures; document processing; database and spreadsheet operations; computer applications; office assistant duties; and perform information processing activities. Appendixes include a glossary; lists of committee and council members; and workplace skills. (YLB)
