"The Different Skill Levels Students Possess When Entering Computer Software Applications College Courses" (Michael McDonald) reports on a 1998 survey examining the perceived skill level differences of college students from six universities in five states who were enrolled in introductory computer applications courses. "Human Resource Managers' Perception of Nonverbal Communication" (Donald English, Janet Walker, Edgar Manton) presents the results of a survey of managers at the 200 largest companies in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. "Learning Plateaus in Student Skill Development: Perception of Court Reporting Instructors" (Joyce L. Sheets, Marcia A. Anderson) examines the rates and duration of learning plateaus among students learning court reporting skills. "Managers' Perceptions and Attitudes towards Gays and Lesbians in Business" (Lisa O'Hara, Bill McPherson) explores existing employer attitudes toward gays and lesbians and the types of instruction needed to improve awareness and understanding of gay and lesbian students. "Training Needs of Office Managers and Supervisors in State Government: Implications for Business Education" (Donna H.
