Science Classrooms for Students with Special Needs. ERIC Digest.

This digest summarizes research on teaching special needs students relative to the concerns of K-12 science teachers. Guidelines for instituting inclusive policies and practices are presented. Strategies for preparing science classroom materials and adapting teaching methods for students with physical and learning disabilities are also discussed, along with the importance of science teachers' attitudes toward special needs students.
