This paper describes the design, implementation, and application of interactive World Wide Web-based learning, based on several business courses taught at Bronx Community College/The City University of New York. The first section summarizes ways the Web was used, including managing the dissemination of course materials, instructor/student communication, assignments and tests, making material covered in the classroom available, accessing information sources on the Web, and students' Web publishing. The next section describes Internet projects that focus on Web searching, job search with the Web, electronic mail, listservs, and graphics. The third section presents the steps in creating and publishing a Web page, including research proposal (needs assessment), interface design, project production (implementation), refinement and maintenance, FTP (file transfer protocol), presentation, and evaluation.
