"In the Footsteps of Alexander the Great" PBS Series. Teacher's Guide.

This teacher's guide correlates with the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) television series "In the Footsteps of Alexander the Great" hosted by historian Michael Wood. The four episodes of the series are entitled: "Son of God"; "Lord of Asia"; "Across the Hindu Kush"; and "To the Ends of the Earth." The guide consists of four core units related to each of the four episodes and contains episode descriptions and suggested discussion questions teachers can use to emphasize and review points discussed in the episodes. Each unit contains an extensive core activity correlated to the national standards for each discipline, series segment viewing suggestions, suggested activities to extend or go beyond the core activity, and student worksheets that can be downloaded from the PBS web site and printed.
