The LD Teacher's IEP Companion: Goals, Strategies, and Activities for LD Students.
This guide provides specific classroom activities keyed to both yearly goals and individual objectives as specified on a learning disabled student's Individualized Education Program (IEP). The guide includes objectives and activities grouped into nine areas within which students with learning disabilities often have needs: (1) mathematics, (2) reading, (3) writing, (4) literary concepts, (5) attention skills, (6) study and organizational skills, (7) classroom behavior, (8) social interaction and communication, and (9) transition to the real world. Listed under each area are yearly goals and under goals are listed a wide range of specific individual objectives. For each individual objective a specific classroom activity is described.
