This book summarizes how better nutrition and health for youths in developing nations will enhance: (1) school enrollment, attendance, and performance; (2) economic productivity; and (3) the health of future generations. By discussing the many low-cost and highly efficient actions that can improve school-age children's health and nutrition, this book serves as a tool for task managers to use in policy dialogue with governments, in raising consciousness and promoting interest, and in carrying out specific tasks.
