It's seven chapters include 43 papers by contributors from a wide range of positions in librarianship and academia. It tackles the "whys" of preservation education and suggests commonsense approaches for library application. Chapter 2, "Creating Preservation Education Programs for Staff and Library Customers," includes an introduction that presents the issues involved in creating education programs and their application to a statewide preservation training program. The need for staff training in preservation as a necessary first step in user education is clarified.
