A Survey of Collaborative Projects of Maryland Postsecondary Institutions.

This report, prepared at the request of an informal Maryland higher education workgroup called "A United Voice for Higher Education," is a summary of various campus collaborative activities. Activities were grouped in the following categories: academic, including joint degree programs, articulation programs, and distance learning partnerships; shared centers and facilities; shared administrative activities; grant-funded projects; K-12 partnership programs; and business and government training programs. Reports were received from 18 community colleges, including: Allegany, Anne Arundel, Baltimore City, Carroll, Catonville, Cecil, Charles County, Chesapeake, Dundalk, Essex, Frederick, Garrett, Hagerstown, Harford, Howard, Montgomery, Prince George's, and Wor-Wic. Reports from 13 four year-public institutions include: Bowie State University, Coppin State College, Frostburg State University, Salisbury State University, Towson State University, University of Baltimore, University of Maryland at Baltimore, University of Maryland Baltimore County, University of Maryland College Park, University of Maryland Eastern Shore, University of Maryland University College, Morgan State University, and St. Mary's College of Maryland. Also included are data from nine independent institutions: Capitol College, Goucher College, Hood College, Johns Hopkins University, Loyola College, Mount St. Mary's College, College of Notre Dame, Villa Julie College, and Washington College; and three private career schools: Arundel Institute of Technology, Broadcasting Institute of Maryland, and Medix School.
