"What Parents Can Do for Their Children's Mathematics Learning" (Ninta Adame-Reyna) outlines 12 tips to parents on improving their children's math attitudes and achievement. "Playtime Is Science Expands in Region VI" (Bradley Scott) describes expansion to Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas of a science activity program for young children and their parents. "Technology Uses for Math and Science Learning" (Felix Montes) lists some ideas for incorporating television, computers, multimedia computers, and the Internet into math and science learning.
