Nebraska Special Education Statistical Report, 1994-95. SESIS Information.

This statistical report presents data in the form of tables, graphs, and text on special education in Nebraska for the year 1994-95 and general trend data going back to 1985. State summary data are provided by child's age, primary disability, and county of residence for the following: Nebraska special education Child Count; ward status; program provider; instructional setting; percent of time spent in special education; and services received. Other data included are: Child Count by county; Child Count by school district; state summary data for children, birth to age 5, by disability, age, and school district; and state summary data for transition of students ages 16 to 21, by disability, age, and school district. Historical data include Nebraska Child Count data by age and disability from 1991 through 1994, Nebraska special education enrollment figures from 1985 through 1994, and United States total enrollment data from 1976 through 1993. Finally, special education program exit reasons by the child's primary disability and age are summarized. Data collection forms are appended. (DB)
