Intended for the vocational health occupations (VHO) teacher during the transition from clinician to teacher, this practical handbook offers advice on bridging the gap between practice and teaching. Chapter 1 addresses defining one's new role. Chapter 2 on classroom instruction looks at student motivation, teaching techniques, student feedback, assessment, and test construction. Chapter 3 on laboratory management deals with student safety, infection control procedures, and assessing student performance.
