This directory lists selected national, state, and local resources, and provides an annotated listing of various materials for AIDS education and HIV prevention. Telephone numbers and hours of operation are provided for national, state, and local resources--a brief statement of each agency's purview is also given. Annotated resources are divided into the following categories: audiovisuals; computer disks; books, journals, and reports; guides; curricula; pamphlets/brochures; magazines; and posters. The annotations feature a concise description of the material, its length (when appropriate), the targeted age group, date of publication, an address and/or phone number for acquiring the resource, and how much the resource costs. Many of the audiovisual materials are accompanied by curricular guides or instruction manuals. (RJM)
