The following topics are covered in 21 instructional units organized into 8 sections: leadership responsibility, climbing the career ladder, clothing and textiles for today, food science, the developing preschool-age child, housing and family lifestyles, human ecology, and financial fitness in the home. Each unit contains some or all of the following: objective sheets, suggested activities, handouts, information sheets, supplements containing information for use in solving problems and reinforcing enrichment of learning, transparency masters, activity sheets, assignment sheets, assignment sheet answers, job sheets, practical tests, written tests, and test answers. All units focus on measurable and observable learning outcomes.
