The booklet includes a discussion of the challenges of diversity and an overview of journalism. A career and salary report explains the types of jobs available in journalism and salary ranges that can be expected. The academic preparation needed for journalistic careers is described, and some job-hunting tips are outlined. Lists of grants, programs, and recruiters are given, grouped into: (1) grants from organizations; (2) internship programs; (3) special training programs; and (4) recruiters.
