Annual Summary Report of Degrees Granted by Arkansas Institutions of Higher Education, 1990-91.

This document offers a summary report of degrees granted at Arkansas state and independent higher education institutions for 1990-91 and highlights trends over a 5-year period. A summary section notes that 12,533 degrees were conferred, a 2.8 percent increase from the previous year and a 11.7 percent increase from 1986-87. Associate degrees rose again to a total of 2,052 for the year. Bachelors degrees increased by 4.2 percent over the previous year. Appendix B contains tables showing degrees and awards conferred in 1990-91 by two-year public institutions, degrees granted by four-year state institutions, and degrees granted by independent institutions.
