Trends in Enrollment and Degrees Granted, 1948-1992. State University of New York Report No. 7-93.
State Univ. of New York, Albany. Central Staff Office of Institutional Research.
This report provides statistical data showing enrollment trends for the State University of New York (SUNY) from 1948 to 1992 in two areas: credit course enrollment (headcount); and degrees granted. The section on credit course enrollment provides headcount enrollment data for the individual institutions and institutional types of the State University as well as system-wide data. Enrollment data in this section is for the fall term of each year and is arrayed by student load (full-time/part-time) and student level (undergraduate/graduate). The section on degrees granted provides data for the State University as a whole, as well as for individual institutions and institutional types and covers all degrees awarded over a 12-month period. Data in this section is provided separately for each degree type: associate; bachelor's; master's; doctoral; and first-professional degrees. An appendix contains a map of the state showing the university system, a chronology of dates of the establishment of its institutions, and a SUNY publications list. (GLR)
