At the reported meeting, the Group was informed of the increasing interest from Eastern and Central Europe in the work of the Council of Europe. There was a report of the study visit to EUDISED (European Documentation and Information System for Education) agencies in Vienna and The Hague by representatives from the national agencies of Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Poland, and Yugoslavia. The Group agreed on revised selection criteria for inclusion in the EUDISED database and called for a rationalization of the input procedure. Participants expressed cautious optimism with regard to achieving the aims of the Three Year Plan; by the end of 1991 the target figure of 2,500 entries should have been received. (Author/DB)
