Computer Graphics. Curriculum Guide for Technology Education.

This curriculum guide for a 1-quarter or 1-semester course in computer graphics is designed to be used with Apple II computers. Some of the topics covered include the following: computer graphics terminology and applications, operating Apple computers, graphics programming in BASIC using various programs and commands, computer graphics painting, computer-aided design, computer-aided animation, and desktop publishing. The guide contains a course outline, competencies (task lists), student competency records, and activities. Activities, which serve as lesson outlines used for 1 or more days, include the following: an introduction, an enabling objective, a performance objective, an equipment and supplies list, a performance standard, suggested references for teachers and students, activities, and evaluation criteria. The guide also contains a resource list of 40 books, 9 periodicals, 17 software programs, and 16 videotapes; a glossary; and four appendixes: (1) Apple screen grid sheets, (2) an equipment list, (3) a supply list, and (4) a facility layout.
