Information is provided for 47 states (New Mexico, West Virginia, and Wyoming reported no lead poisoning prevention programs) and the District of Columbia. Appendices include: (1) tables noting the types of services offered by the state and local programs, such as screening, medical follow-up management, environmental follow-up management, temporary shelter, community education, and consultation; and (2) a list of educational materials used by state and local programs in their community education effort, arranged by state.
