This guide is a compilation of methods, strategies, and skills which were teacher developed and proven by research to be effective when incorporated into state compensatory education programs. Its purpose is to ensure the success of all students by helping them to succeed in the regular school program, attain grade-level proficiency, and improve achievement in basic and more advanced skills.
